Power failure on pittsburgh (Resolved)

  • We have experienced a power failure on the server pittsburgh and are currently in the process of resolving this issue.  Due to the nature of the failure, the server is currently offline. However. we are working to bring it back online as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while we resolve this issue.

    Update - We have found the issue to be a failed motherboard and have corrected the issue by replacing the machine with a new server. However, due to the nature of the power failure, the raid disk system needs to be rebuilt and data integrity verified. We will provide further updates as to the overall status of this issue. Again, we certainly appreciate your patience while we work through this problem.

    Update - The raid array has been rebuilt and we have begun the process of verifying data integrity on the system.

    Update - Due to the size of the raid array and backup drives, the disk verification process is taking a substantial amount of time. We are monitoring the process and will continue to post updates as soon as possible.  Thank you again for your patience with this matter.

    Final Update - The issue has been resolved and the server is now back online. We sincerely appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve this issue and recognize the inconvenience that it has created. The problem had a cascading affect in that the system disks and backup subsystem became corrupted due to the power failure. As a result, this greatly extended the anticipated rebuild time. At this point web and email services have been fully restored and we are closely monitoring this system for any further issues.

Delay in the delivery of emails on Exchange (Resolved)

  • Some customers may experience a delay in delivery while attempting to send through SMTP. Please note that no emails are being lost during the process. Our systems administrators are actively working to minimize the delay while implementing a solution to correct the issue. However we are not able to provide you with an ETA at this moment.

    Update: Our administrators are working to implement a resolution to return normal service operation. Full service should be restored within the next 4 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience.
